Social Pulse is a proprietary, in-house desktop software utility developed and operated by NoCodingGuru ("we", "us", or "our"). The application is built solely for internal administrative purposes to manage community interactions, deliver requested informational resource links, and automate public feedback acknowledgments on our verified business Instagram and social accounts.
This Privacy Policy outlines how our application interacts with data retrieved through the Meta Graph API and explains our strict commitments to data minimization, privacy, and user protection.
2. Information Accessed & Collected
Social Pulse only accesses information made available through official Meta Graph API endpoints when a user interacts publicly with our verified content:
- Public Comment Data: Public comment text, unique Comment ID, and timestamp left by users on our promotional posts and Reels.
- User Identifiers: Public Instagram usernames and platform-assigned Scoped User IDs (ASUID) associated with the commenting user.
- Direct Message Status: Delivery response codes returned by the Meta API verifying whether an automated Private Reply was successfully dispatched.
Note on Sensitive Data: Social Pulse does NOT request, access, or process private profiles, passwords, financial records, email addresses, phone numbers, or personal user feeds.
3. How We Use the Data
Data accessed through the Meta Graph API is processed strictly to fulfill user-initiated requests:
- Fulfilling Link Inquiries (Private Reply): When a user comments expressing interest in an application or resource, Social Pulse sends an automated direct message containing the requested official download links (e.g., Google Play Store or Web/iOS links).
- Confirmation Replies: Posting a brief public comment acknowledging that the requested link has been dispatched to their inbox.
- Duplicate Suppression: Maintaining an interaction log to guarantee that an individual commenter is not messaged multiple times for duplicate comments.
- Rate Limiting & Safety: Adhering to platform velocity limits to prevent spam and comply with Meta's Platform Terms.
4. Storage, Retention & Security
Social Pulse is a standalone desktop application. All activity logs and user interaction records are stored exclusively in an internal, encrypted local SQLite database hosted on our secure local workstations.
- No Cloud Data Brokers: Data is not synced to external public cloud databases, third-party analytics trackers, or external marketing platforms.
- Data Retention Limit: Interaction records are kept only for the duration necessary to satisfy duplicate-prevention rules and audit logging, after which they are systematically purged.
- Zero Commercialization: We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade any user data accessed via Meta APIs under any circumstances.
5. Meta Platform Policy Compliance
Social Pulse operates in strict compliance with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, specifically:
- Complying with the 7-day expiration limit for Private Replies.
- Honoring the user's intent by messaging only when explicitly triggered by comment activity.
- Implementing automated rate caps and human-like jitter delays to prevent network abuse.
6. User Rights & Data Deletion
Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA) and Meta Platform policies, any user whose interaction record has been logged possesses the right to request inspection or immediate deletion of their records.
